I bought your game on Steam a while back and had no idea at the time your game was on itch. Is there a way, without buying it a second time, I could get you game on itch? I actually prefer itch, and GOG, to Steam. I could send you a screenshot of it in my Steam library if that would help.

Hey miki151, I have been following your game for around 2 years, and I bought it here on itch.io about 150 days ago. I didn't have a computer at the time, but I had a little spare cash and wanted to buy it so that I could play once I got a computer. I have been playing for 3 1/2 hours, but unfortunately every time I get decently far into a game, it starts to crash relentlessly, I've tried playing for 2 minutes, and saving, and repeating, but eventually it'll just begin crashing even when I try to save. It is very frustrating because I love the game, but It is just too impossible to play like this. I was reading the forums and I heard that it seems to crash less when launched through steam, and so I was wondering where I could find the steam-key to add it to my library? I've tried every compatibility mode and other launch setting, and nothing is working. Please let me know what I can do/try.

Hey, I'm not aware of any crashes that could happen so often, especially during saving. The Steam version has been updated with a few fixes that will make it to itch.io very soon, but I don't think they'll change anything. But you can get a steam key if you bought the game on itch.io. KeeperRL is a dungeon building strategy game with roguelike elements. There is a commercial version with non-free assets, and a gratis version, which is functionally the same, but with only ASCII-style graphics (which is under a free license). [3] Only the ASCII version is a completely libre game.

As a Keeper, players must manage their dungeon and minions in an RTS style while engaging in turn-based combat during invasions or emergency situations. The game features permadeath, so players must exercise caution when sending their forces into danger. To succeed, players must balance the RTS and Roguelike aspects of the game, develop technology, recruit and train minions, and equip them with the best gear for battles.

Strategic thinking is required for players to overcome tough opponents in KeeperRL. They must use the available tools to overcome challenges, such as utilizing the roguelike mechanics available during combat or carefully considering army composition. KeeperRL offers a variety of features, including dungeon creation, research, resource management, invasion and defense strategies, immigration systems, and faction management. The game also includes a day/night cycle, which affects gameplay mechanics.

One unique feature of KeeperRL is the ability to create customized dungeons and share them online. Resource management is also a key aspect of the game, as players can craft equipment, manage resources, and build structures and installations to progress. To conquer the world outside their dungeons, players must use magic, assault teams, armies, and archery. Equip your minions and explore the world, murder innocent villagers and burn their homes. Build your dungeon, lay traps and prepare for an assault of angry heroes. You will occasionally see text in orange. These hints will provide youwith ideas on what to do next. When playing the tutorial, there arestep-by-step instructions at the bottom of the screen. Campaigns have acampaign map, which contain other smaller map sectors and appears beforeyou start the game. The main villains and allies will be found on thismaster map. View this during the game, using the compass icon.

You can also pause the game at any time by pressing space. This willgive you time to think and issue complex orders. If it looks like youare winning, you can increase the game speed to fast-forward it (untilyou are invaded).
